Something Mr. Trump said we can all agree with. And that said, instead of Greenland, a Green Pond.

Awarding no-bid contracts in the name of efficiency seems the way to go for Mr. Trump.

According to documents reviewed by ABC News. Using less than an arms-length process the interior Department contracting documents justified the no-bid contract on the following: Delaying the award long enough to conduct a competitive procurement would prevent the National Park Service from completing the work in time to reopen the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool for the Nation’s 250th anniversary event series. This delay would result in serious injury to the Government, including failure to meet statutory visitor-safety responsibilities and operational commitments for the 250th”.

The New York Times also reported that the Interior Department’s own internal estimates anticipated the cost could exceed $12 million, and that officials predicted the repairs would hold up for seven to ten years — not the fifty years Trump claimed.

According to Interior Department documents, as reported by the NY Times, there were bubbles in the waterproof layer and the color was not consistently applied.  Further more the Joint-seal work was not completed.

As reported by USA Today and the Wall Street Journal, this not typical of a “Trump” contractor, as Trump Companies habitually have had a problem not paying his bills.  Trump would claim it was a negotiating strategy for substandard work.

Now payment is made before the work is completed.  Is this great negotiating or a “thank you” for your contribution to my wanna-be dictator fund.

And yes, true to its name, Green Water Solutions, the water is still green!!

The real vandals are, Atlantic Industrial Coatings, Green Water Solutions the Interior Department and Mr. Trump, himself!!
