The Guardian or Grifter
As the overseer of the SEC and Justice Department it is the duty of the President to be the guardian of the people, protect investors, maintain a fair, orderly, and transparent access to financial information, prevent fraud, and promote market integrity.
In an article published on July 2, 2026, according to CNBC, Mr. Trump bought Apple, Nvidia and other tech giants before tariff reversal fueled some rebound.
President Donald Trump made 327 stock purchases on April 8, 2025, according to a CNBC analysis of newly released financial disclosures, as markets reeled from his sweeping “liberation day” tariff plan.
Mr. Trump told reporters his trades are managed by outside parties.
These trades were numerous, many, many times more than the average stockholder makes in his entire life.
By comparison, interestingly enough, Martha Stewart was not as fortunate as he.
Unlike Mr. Trump having the shield of Todd, “Mr. Whitewash”, Blanche, Ms. Stewart’s sold shares of stock in a drug company in December 2001, just before its cancer drug application was rejected. She was convicted, of obstruction of justice and making false statements to investigators, was fined and spent time in prison.
Just like Mr. Trump, her trades were made by outside parties, as if to give it the appearance of normalcy, as well.
Did Mr. Trump tip off his investment advisors? Do they or did they discuss upcoming trades with Mr. Trump or his family? Why does Mr. Trump have the advantage of different rules.
This does not just apply to Mr. Trump, but to Mr. Vance and members of Congress as well.
Apparently, no one is above the law unless you are in power!!!
What Lord Acton wrote in 1887 resonates even more strongly today, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”.
