El Salvador’s Leader Says He Won’t Return Man Who Was Mistakenly Deported
According to the New York Times, Mr. Bukele, (current President of El Salvador), said returning Mr. Abrego Garcia would be akin to smuggling “a terrorist into the United States.”
Mr. Trump smiled as Mr. Bukele of El Salvador stated returning the mans departed in error was “preposterous” and he will not be released.
In spite of a Supreme Court ruling to “facilitate” the release Mr. Garcia, the White House has thus far rejected the request.
There is parable to help guide us.
An assembly of elders and people vehemently accused a man of perverting people and as being a traitor. The judge examined the facts determined there was no basis for the findings. Yet the government continued to treat the man with contempt and mocked him.
Once again, the justice stated, “I have examined him in your presence and have not found this man guilty of the charges alleged against him”.
Yet the man was led away, was incarcerated and was murdered.
The wrongly convicted man was Jesus Christ.
The goal of Mr. Trump was to demonstrate absolute power. Mr. Bukele’s role was that of Nero. The Supreme Court in the parable was Pontius Pilate.
Since the Roman empire and until now, oppression is alive and well.
Hopefully Abrego Garcia will not meet the same fate.
So much for the rule of law. Is it now “the Law according to Donald”?
Just a thought as I am the dumb guy.
