Who is crazy

On May 26, 2025 Mr. Trump called Mr. Putin ‘absolutely crazy’ following Russia’s bombardment on Ukraine.

In his press conference in May 28, 2025, Mr. Trump stated he is giving Mr. Putin 2 weeks to prove seriousness on Ukraine.

For what result?  To give his friend Mr. Putin more time to destroy the “will” of the Ukrainian people?

Let us review some history.

Over the past years the ‘absolutely crazy’ Putin has invaded Georgia, Syria, Chechnya and Ukraine with the goal of expanding the Russian empire.

In addition, to minimize any political dissent some of Mr. Putin’s critics met untimely deaths, just to name a few, include:

  • Boris Nemtsov, February 27, 2015
  • Mikhail Lesin, November 5, 2015
  • Anna Politkovskaya, October 7, 2006

In addition, Mr. Trump falsely blamed Volodymyr Zelensky for starting the war in Ukraine and has been backing away from supporting Ukraine.

Why should Mr. Putin commit to anything to end the war?

Mr. Putin has been consistent in his desire to make Ukraine part of Russian empire.

When 300 drones destroyed the Ukraine cities and infrastructure, all Mr. Trump could come up with on Truth Social “I am not happy with the Russian strikes on Kiev. Not necessary and bad timing. Vladimir STOP!”

Why negotiate, when Mr. Trump will acquiesce and concede while Russia continues to bombard the Ukrainian People.

The usual friendly Fox News recent headline “Russia challenging Mr. Trump is not being sufficiently informed’”.  Fox News went on to state “Russian officials challenge Trump’s understanding of the conflict as president attempts to position himself as peacemaker”

So, who is ‘absolutely crazy’ Mr. Putin or Mr. Trump.
